The World Scout Conference (WSC) takes place every three years. Ljubljana will be its proud host after Brazil, Korea, Tunisia and Greece, through the efforts of the Slovenian member of the World Scout Movement – The Scout Association of Slovenia. The members of the association convinced the majority of the 162 member states that Ljubljana is the next most appropriate host for the conference and Ljubljana thus overcame its difficult opponent for the year 2014 – Florence.
