Islanders invited to join treasure hunt to raise money for epilepsy charity

download (4)Islanders are being invited to sign up for a charity treasure hunt to raise money for The Jersey Epilepsy Association. The inaugural Radisson Road Trip will take place on 28th March 2015.
Participants will meet at Radisson Blu Hotel for a briefing at 13:30. After being given clues from Radisson Blu staff, the teams will then head off on a treasure hunt around the island in their own vehicles. Teams of four to five people will follow clues directing them around the island.

Destination Maternity Declares Quarterly Cash Dividend


Destination MaternityDestination Maternity Corporation, the world’s leading maternity apparel retailer, today announced that its Board of Directors has declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.20 per share.  The cash dividend will be payable March 27, 2015 to stockholders of record at the close of business on March 6, 2015.

As previously announced, the Company has adopted a change in its fiscal year to a 52/53 week retail calendar beginning February 1, 2015 with the fiscal year ending on the Saturday closest to January 31st in each succeeding year.  Due to the change in the Company’s fiscal year, any future quarterly cash dividends would be payable on the third Thursday of the last retail month of each quarter to stockholders of record at the close of business on the first Thursday of the last retail month of each quarter.

Media Statement – Aircraft Incident


ST.Johns AirportAn incident occurred at 7:30 a.m. today resulting in a CargoJet B757-200 aircraft colliding with the General Service Building, located on the Torbay Road side of the airport. The building has been evacuated for safety reasons while the incident and the damage are being investigated.
There were two crew members on board the aircraft and no injuries were sustained by those on board the aircraft or in the building.
The St. John’s International Airport Authority’s Emergency Response team is on site, and the
Transportation Safety Board and the RNC have been notified.
